CLIMATE
What to wear in Malta:
During the summer months, lightweight clothing typical of any European summer including shorts, T-shirts and hats.
 
During the winter months: lightweight clothing but with something a little warmer for the cooler evenings.
 
Please be aware that some places in Malta observe strict dress codes. If you plan on visiting a Church, avoid wearing shorts, mini-skirts and shoulderless tops. Some churches may loan women shawls to cover themselves up with.
 
Malta is blessed with a wonderful climate with hot summers and warm winters. The weather is strongly influenced by the sea.
 
Between April and September, there is virtually non-stop sunshine with the hottest period being between mid-July to end September.
